  Phase 1 Reflective Journal Day 2 23/11/2020 Monday Today I I started my class at 7:30 p.m. in Google meet. The link was provided in the group by 7:20 p.m. itself. Everyone were joined before 7:30 p.m. I admitted all the students of 9th standard of SNGBHSSS Cherthala. Then I made an attempt to revise the unit 'Bonds of Love' from which I take the poem 'Song of the Rain' The class was very interactive. The class was packed with questions and many activities and all of them were very active. I gave homework and concluded my class by 8:35 p.m. Today's class Today I started class with informal interactions with the students. After that I started the poem 'Song of the Rain'. Phase 1 Reflective Journal  Day 1 19/11/2020 Thursday Introductory Events                Today I started teaching practice through   online platform. Because of covid-19 I got the class 9 under the guidance of Smt. Sreejitha Teacher (English, SNMGBHSS). The class consists of 3 divisions. I arranged the class on 8:00 p.m. Online platform which I choose is Google meet. Smt. Sreejitha ma'am was add on the 9th standard WhatsApp group which is an exclusive group of English language learning. I joined the class at 7:25 p.m. and introduced myself. Due to to lack of time I started introducing a new lesson title 'Song of the Rain' written by Khalil Gibran. We all are passing through a difficult time. The world is now experiencing a worst time due to the vast spread of Covid- 19. There are many changes happened to our life situations. Almost all activities are being done through online world. Now one of the major changes is being happening in educational field. Student and teachers are building their relationship through online class rooms. As a B.Ed. trainee, teaching practice in semester 3 and 4 is really important for me. But in this pandemic condition we are forced to take classes through online platforms. As per our syllabus we are now asked to take 10 face to face class that is with school students and 10 peer teaching classes. It is really a new experience for all of us.
